More and more of our residential customers are looking for a solution to excessive heat gain, and at the same time, to stop the fading of fine furniture and soft furnishings caused by exposure to sunlight. iGP were asked to install reflective film on conservatories and roof lights at some of the most exclusive addresses in London.

One private customer (who contacted iGP through Google) was experiencing significant heat gain, in particular, throughout the third floor roof-light area of his property. In this case, the most effective application was to install a highly reflective silver film to the roof-lights, thereby reducing the heat gain by 80%.

For the remaining areas of the property affected by heat gain, the client did not want to alter the appearance of the windows, so the solution in this case was to install our virtually clear heat reduction solar film, which reduces heat gain by a significant 45%. In addition to this, the film also reduces the penetration of UV rays by up to 99%, thereby dramatically reducing the damage caused to furniture and soft furnishings by exposure to sunlight.
