Avis's offices in Bracknell are centred around a vast atrium with an entirely glass roof. The heat gain within the building (particularly during the summer months) is tremendous due to the sunlight streaming in.

Avis contacted iGP with a view to installing film to help reduce the heat gain in the offices. Following the initial consultation and site survey, iGP proposed an external installation of high performing reflective solar window film to reduce the heat gain at source.

The work was completed and the window film was edge sealed to ensure that the film lasts well beyond its warranty. The benefit of edge sealing film on external installations is to form a waterproof barrier and ensure the film doesn't get wet underneath causing it to peel off and blister. iGP use 3M™ Edge Sealer, this can be applied around all exposed edges of film to help prevent the film from lifting due to environmental exposure or cleaning.
